Water test for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS)

This new PFAS analysis replaces our previous PFC (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) analysis to provide an even more comprehensive overview. The values from the old PFC analysis are also included in the new, more comprehensive PFAS analysis, which comprises 20 test parameters. These values will form part of the new Drinking Water Ordinance from January 2026. Our laboratories’ analysis method utilises direct injection in accordance with DIN 38407-42: 2011-03, and the limit of quantification for individual PFAS is 10 ng/l (= 0.01 µg/l = 0.00001 mg/l).

Notes

  • To access your analysis results, you will need to register on our website, providing the sample code included in the pack. This allows us to match the analysis to your specific sample and generate the return label included in the price.
  • We dispatch our sampling kits in environmentally friendly, neutral packaging. You can reuse this packaging when sending your sample to our laboratory – this saves time and conserves resources. The packaging photos are for illustrative purposes only.
  • Please note that the sample must be taken and sent to us within 24 months of receiving the kit.
  • We analyse tap and well water only. Please do not send us waste water or water that has been deliberately contaminated (e.g. with dissolved medication), as this would damage our laboratory equipment. In such cases, we cannot carry out the analysis and will not be able to refund any costs.

Legal Note

For official or legal use of analysis results, sampling must generally be carried out by authorised specialists from an accredited laboratory. As this can incur higher costs, we recommend that you first carry out an analysis yourself for internal quality control. Should you require a fully accredited process at a later date, we would be happy to advise you.
